After trying to photograph each step of dinner preparation last night and then taking pictures of each meal today I have made a few decisions regarding this chronicle. Instead of step-by-step photos, I’m just going to photograph the ingredients and then the final product as it sits on my plate. It’s just too much information the other way I was doing it. Also, I think I’m going to wait and post at the end of each day and just describe what I’ve eaten then. If I do individual posts again, it’s just too much information. Any opinions you’d like to offer are welcome!
On to dinner this evening…leftovers! We had chicken and potatoes leftover from last night so that’s what we had. Not too exciting but just as delicious. We didn’t have any beans left so I substituted canned green beans and they were terrible so we threw them out! No pictures of dinner since it was just leftover from last night.
My stats are:
I actually lost weight in May due to a severe round of stomach bugs that went through here. I was down 10lbs and had lost 3″ off my waist. Since that time, I have maintained that weight and haven’t been following a particularly healthy diet and what I’m hoping is that by eating healthy, small portions of food and exercising, I will lose weight. It will be slow and if I lose 5 lbs a month I’ll be ecstatic. No unreasonable expectations here. We’re going for a family bike ride tomorrow so hopefully I make it back alive. It’s been a while since I’ve done anything that strenuous. Wish me luck!
